We will provide the actor with a clearly delineated process, which will support him or her in the crafting of any song at all.
By “craft” we mean to shape carefully, with intelligence and consideration, the material at hand, in a skillful, expert way, which results in an audition that is professional, thoughtful, emotionally true, and memorable.
We begin using music you are already familiar with. This process is explained by using your music to structure and block a new performance of your old material. Then we go to work structuring your ‘book’ and strategizing about which new material would work best for you. We deal with 32-bar songs, 16- bar cuts and even 8-bar arrangements. We also help you prepare for specific auditions and callbacks – as they come along. Class size is limited to 8 members, so that everyone works every week.
Classes are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons from 12-4.

Ken Lundie was a multi-faceted musical talent involved in the New York theatre scene serving as a Musical Director, Audition Pianist, Vocal Coach and Broadway Performer.
Musical Direction credits include the successful off-Broadway productions GOLF: THE MUSICAL, FOR LOVERS ONLY (which Mr. Lundie also co-conceived) and DIETRICH AND CHEVALIER. He was Musical Director for regional productions of BARNUM and GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES and assisted on the 20th anniversary tour of EVITA, the Jimmy Buffett/Herman Wouk musical DON’T STOP THE CARNIVAL and regional and off-B’way productions of LONE STAR LOVE.
